The NOCN Level 3 NVQ Diploma Site Carpentry enables experienced Joiners and Carpenters to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding across 9 units of advanced site carpentry techniques, information and resources including First Fixing, Second fixing and maintaining existing joinery components. Achievement of this qualification allows eligibility for a Gold CSCS card and provides a progression route into further qualifications such as CCO and Occupational Work Supervision.

The NOCN Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry) allows you to demonstrate your skills, knowledge, understanding and competence as a Site Carpenter. It requires you to complete a total of 9 units comprising of 7 mandatory and 2 units chosen from the Optional group. Your Assessor will discuss and explain the unit options and agree the most suitable titles with you. Units include:

Confirming the Occupational method of work in the workplace

Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Area of work in the workplace.

Developing and maintaining good occupational working relationships in the workplace

Installing Bespoke first foxing components in the workplace

Installing Bespoke second fixing components in the workplace

Setting up and using transportable cutting and shaping machines in the workplace

Erecting Roof structure carcassing components in the workplace

Erecting structural carcassing components in the workplace

Maintaining non structural and structural components in the workplace
