The NOCN Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision allows experienced tradespeople to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and understanding of their trade and the construction industry to progress on to higher level qualifications or into Supervisory or management roles within the workplace. You must already have a minimum Level 2 NVQ within your occupational area to allow entry onto the Level 3 NVQ in occupational Work Supervision. You will need to complete 8 units , including 6 Mandatory and 2 Optional units. Your Assessor will discuss with you the most suitable units for you. Units include:
Implementing and Maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare Practices in the Workplace
Monitoring Progress of work against schedules in the workplace
Developing and maintaining good occupational work operations in the workplace
Co-Ordinating and organising work operations in the workplace
Confirming work activities and resources for an occupational work area in the workplace
Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace
Implementing procedures to support team performances in the workplace
Co-ordinating and confirming the dimensional control requirements of the work in the workplace
Confirming work meets contractual, industry and manufacturers standards in the workplace
Allocating and monitoring the use of plant, machinery, equipment or vehicles in the workplace.
